Herbalism
Western herbalism
For thousands of years, mankind has used plants to alleviate ailments.
Even in the age of modern pharmacology, this type of therapy is still appropriate.
Natural remedies can often complement pharmaceuticals, sometimes alleviate their side effects, or even be used as stand-alone remedies for many ailments.
Who does not know the effect of fennel tea for flatulence, gentian for digestive problems, sage tea for sore throats, arnica for sprains, linseed or psyllium for constipation and many others?
The diversity of the plant world offers a wealth of effective remedies for many complaints.
Man is part of nature, he is not a stranger in it - even if it might seem so today. Therefore, if he seeks it, he will often find the remedies he needs in it.
Although I am aware that Chinese herbalism is very well developed and powerful, I work with Western medicinal plants. These are "our" plants, most suitable and most compatible for us. For the application, however, I very often orientate myself on the TCM criteria.
I am convinced that what we need and what can help us grows in our living environment.
One more reason to care for and love our nature!
