Acupunctur
TCM Acupuncture
The best-known and probably most widespread method of Chinese medicine is acupuncture.
Here, therapeutic stimuli are applied by means of needles to energetically particularly active body points, the acupuncture points.
In this way, "Qi" (often translated with the inadequate word energy) is stimulated or calmed in its dynamics, diverted from one body zone to another, or pathogenic factors such as cold, dampness, mucus are expelled, which burden and prevent the self-regulation of the processes.
In western countries it is the best known and most frequently practised aupuncture style.
Toyohari acupuncture
Since acupuncture originated in China, very different styles have developed over time.
Although the basic principles on which the Toyohari style is based are the same, it is influenced by a 400 year old tradition of blind practitioners. To this day, a large proportion of acupuncturists in Japan are blind. Thus, relevant differences have developed over time.
There is much more palpation (meridians in the periphery, abdomen and pulse) while the visual aspect of observation is omitted while questioning and smelling/listening are just as important.
In general, much finer needles are used and special often non-invasive needling techniques are employed. This makes Toyohari particularly suitable for people who are usually shy of acupuncture, are particularly sensitive - such as children or elderly people or people who are immunocompromised.
The training in Toyohari acupuncture takes place after completion of the TCM training and lasts one year. It is possible to do a further specialisation after 3 years. The entire training can take another 2.5 years.
In the Toyohari context, we have also developed our own exchange and research technique, which enables us to refine and deepen our skills through constant exchange. As Toyohari practitionThe best-known and probably most widespread method of Chinese medicine is acupuncture.

Acupuncture according to Dr. Manaka
Acupuncture according to Dr. Manaka was developed after the Second World War. It works mainly with the group of the so-called 8 Extraordinary Meridians. It has a special effect on the body structure.
The diagnosis is based on a special abdominal diagnosis, which focuses on tension conditions in certain reflex zones on the abdomen.
Indispensable for me is the so-called whiplash protocol, which is incredibly effective.
